If a user receives an error stating they are already logged in or their session is locked, follow these steps to reset the connection.
Method 1: Clear Login via Administrator Module
This is the quickest fix and should always be attempted first.
Open and log into the Administrator Module of Total Response.
Go to the top menu bar, click the Tools dropdown, and select Manage User.
Locate and highlight the affected user from the list.
Click Clear Login at the bottom of the window.
Note: If the Clear Login button is grayed out or inactive, proceed to Method 2 below.
Method 2: Restart Server Services
Use this method if Method 1 is unavailable. Prerequisites: Ensure all active users have saved their work and logged out of Total Response before proceeding. Administrative server access or IT support may be required.
Log into the server hosting the Total Response application.
Open Windows Search, type Services, and launch the Services app.
Scroll down to find the following two services:
PowerPhone Log In Manager (or Total Response Log In Manager)
PowerPhone Launcher (or Total Response Launcher)
Right-click each service individually and select Restart.
Once both services show a status of "Running," have the user attempt to log in again.
